North Orange County Community College District will join community colleges across California in celebrating Black Student Success Week April 22-26, reaffirming our dedication to the academic success of Black and African American Students.
This year's theme, "Building a Better Future Together: The Urgency is Now," will highlight the achievements of Black and African American students while exploring innovative ways to ensure a more inclusive and equitable learning environment.
The California Community Colleges will hold Zoom webinars, events and discussions throughout the week. Viewings of the webinars will also be held at:
Along with hosting viewing events for the CCC webinars, Fullerton College's Umoja Program will present a slate of programs throughout the week, and the A2MEND and Legacy programs at Cypress College will hold additional Zoom webinars: a Greek Life informational seminar on Tuesday, April 23 from 3-5 p.m., and LAUNCH Student Academic Success Workshop on Thursday, April 25 from 3-5 p.m.
